BlitzPrompts Terms of Service

Effective Date: December 15, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BlitzPrompts’ Chrome extension, website (blitzprompts.com), and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who We Are

BlitzPrompts (“BlitzPrompts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools to create, organize, and use prompt templates, including features that help you compose prompts and (optionally) use third-party AI providers to generate suggestions and enhancements.

2) Eligibility

The Services are not intended for children under 16. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 16 and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3) Your Account

Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Passwords

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider. We do not receive or store your password in plain text.

4) The Services

BlitzPrompts includes, among other features:

  • Prompt templates & folders: create, edit, organize, and delete saved prompt templates and folder metadata.
  • Prompt Workbench: a structured Role / Instructions / Context (and sometimes Examples) workflow to help you compose detailed prompts. (You may see “RICE” in code references.)
  • Modifiers: preset tone/style/constraints options appended to your prompt.
  • Prompt Suggester (optional AI feature): analyzes up to the last N-3 prompts and responses you provide to it and suggests 3 follow-up prompts. Uses Grok (primary) with Gemini fallback.
  • Prompt Enhancer (optional AI feature): (1) asks up to five clarifying questions, then (2) synthesizes your prompt + Q&A into an enhanced prompt. Uses Grok (primary) with Gemini fallback.
  • Professional prompt templates: a library of curated templates available on the website for copying and personal use.

Some Workbench and Modifier functionality is applied in your browser while composing. What you save as a prompt template is what we store.

5) Plans, Limits, and Subscriptions

Free Tier

Free accounts include:

  • Up to 15 saved prompts
  • Up to 3 folders
  • 1 Prompt Suggester use per day
  • 1 Prompt Enhancer use per day
  • Access to Prompt Workbench and Modifiers
  • Access to professional prompt templates

Pro Tier

Pro is $5.99/month and includes:

  • Everything in Free
  • Unlimited prompts and folders
  • Unlimited Prompt Suggester
  • Unlimited Prompt Enhancer

Downgrades

If you downgrade from Pro to Free:

  • Your existing prompts and folders are not deleted
  • You may be unable to create new prompts/folders until you’re below Free limits (< 15 prompts and < 3 folders)

Billing and Payments (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing through Stripe until you cancel. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Changes to Pricing or Plans

We may change pricing, plan features, or limits from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll provide notice through the Services or by email when required.

Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law. Refunds (if any) are handled according to the policies shown at purchase and applicable law.

6) Your Content

Your Saved Content

You own the prompt templates and content you create and intentionally save (“User Content”).

License to Operate the Services

You grant BlitzPrompts a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, and improve the Services (for example, saving prompts, syncing across devices, and rendering your library).

You’re Responsible for Your Content

You are responsible for your User Content, including ensuring it doesn’t violate laws or third-party rights.

7) AI Features and Third-Party Model Providers

How AI Features Work

Certain optional features send limited data you provide (e.g., recent prompt/response context for the Suggester, or your prompt plus Q&A for the Enhancer) to third-party model providers (currently Grok with Gemini fallback) to generate outputs.

Data Storage for AI Features

BlitzPrompts does not store AI feature inputs or outputs unless you choose to save the result into your prompt library.

Third-Party Policies Apply

Third-party model providers may process data under their own terms and policies. You are responsible for reviewing those policies and deciding what you submit.

No Guarantee of Output Quality

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and using outputs safely.

8) Professional Templates and BlitzPrompts Materials

Professional templates and other BlitzPrompts-provided materials are owned by BlitzPrompts (or its licensors) and are provided for your personal or internal use. You may copy and adapt them for your own work, but you may not resell, publicly redistribute, or publish them as a competing template library or product.

9) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Services
  • Bypass plan limits or access controls
  • Upload or store malware or exploit code
  • Use the Services to generate or distribute content that violates applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

10) Third-Party Services and Integrations

BlitzPrompts may integrate with or be used alongside third-party AI tools and services (including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Qwen). We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their features, availability, or policies.

11) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the Services, you agree that we can process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services, users, or third parties.

If your account is terminated, your access to stored prompts may be removed subject to legal obligations and our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLITZPROMPTS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or reliable.

14) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLITZPROMPTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLITZPROMPTS’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BLITZPROMPTS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID, $100).

(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not fully apply to you.)

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BlitzPrompts harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your User Content,
  • your use of the Services, or
  • your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and, if changes are material, provide notice through the Services or by email when required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state where BlitzPrompts is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
